Things You'll Need:
- computer with internet access
- Ebay seller account
- digital camera
-
Step 1
After I cleaned out my closets and garage if found I missed listing on Ebay so I started researching things that where selling on ebay. To my surprise it was Baby items.
-
Step 2
I found my local Goodwill thrift store had a outlet store where items are sold by the pound usually .39 a pound. I usually spend around $5- $7 and will make around $30 or more with that purchase. Another great way to find ebay items it by going to garage sales, try not to pay any more than .50 - $1.00 for any item unless it is a large quantity.
Sometime you will find really good deal at estate auctions or your local auction house. -
Step 3
The big selling toys for me are infant soft books, board books, fisher price little people, lincoln logs, any developmental toy, rattles, play food, play tools, peek a boo blocks, rescue heroes in large groups, my little pony in large groups. Try to have at least a quantity of 10 or more when you list toys and lincol logs try to have 50 or more. Just by luck I found scrabble letters are a bid seller usually in groups of 100 or more.
-
Step 4
I always make sure these are in good working condition and are something I would allow my own child to play with. I always clean the items before I ship them and take nice bright photos. Make sure you describe any flaw the toy might have too.
-
Step 5
Make sure you research the items you wish to sell before you buy. So you will need a to have some type of game plan. Make sure you do an advanced search on ebay to see if the toys you wish to sell are selling... Do this by clicking on the advance search tab on the ebay site and then type in the item in the search bar and click Completed listings
-
Step 6
Ship you items priority mail and get your boxes from the post office they are still free if you use priority mail.
-
Step 7
I'm not making my first million with this but I'm able to pay for my boys college books all with my ebay sales.
