Finding your purpose in life seems daunting. People are overworked, stressed out, financially limited, emotionally drained and are generally in a state of unrest. There are countless books, DVDs, and CDs to help people try every known way of looking for a purpose in life, and yet it continues to elude many. Pray and ask God for wisdom to understand what it is he wants you to do with your life. An active prayer life keeps you close to God when you share with him your life's battles, joys, victories, and deepest desires. Even though God created you and already knows all about you he wants a close relationship with you. Talk to him as if you were talking to someone in the room with you. God enjoys hearing your prayers.

Read the Bible. It is God's way of speaking to you. You cannot find God's purpose without listening to His advice. God wants you to grow spiritually as stated in I Peter 3:18: "But grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ...." and in II Timothy 2:15: "Study to shew yourself approved of God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." God wants you to become a mature Christian. Consistent learning and applying Biblical principles strengthens your capacity for life, love, giving, serving, and being blessed.
