Adrak Chai
Adrak Chai

"Chai" is the common word used for tea in India. Tea is one of the most widely consumed beverage in India. This article demonstrates an easy way to make "adrak chai" that is nothing but tea with the flavor of ginger. Ginger and cardamom are the spices used to enhance the taste of the tea. I use tea powder (like Tajmahal or Red Label tea powder) to make the chai. If you can't get the tea powder, you can use tea bags as well. This recipe makes two cups of tea.
