A Howling Good Time!
A Howling Good Time!

When thinking of a theme for your child's birthday party, look no further than their best furry friend for inspiration! And, if you follow the suggestions in this article, your party will be a "howling" good time!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Creativity
  • Cake
  • Balloons
  • Decorations
  • Invitations
  • Games
  • Food
  1. Step 1

Set the tone for your party with unique puzzle invitations. You can print the invitation on white paper in the shape of a dog bone. Glue the paper to a piece of cardboard and cut the invitation into puzzle pieces. The guests will have fun piecing the dog bone invitation back together!

  2. Step 2

If you are inviting human and furry guests, think about hosting your party at a local park. This will allow for plenty of space to accommodate all of your guests.

  3. Step 3

Many party stores sell dog theme decorations. Be sure to include enough party hats for the furry guests at your party! Balloons, banners, and theme plates are great decorations to include.

  4. Step 4

Kids love games! Try activities like pin the tail on the dog, have the kids walk their dogs in a pet parade, or have a dog show where dogs win prizes for "Most Obedient", "Shortest Tail", and "Best Groomed". All will be a hit with your guests!

  5. Step 5

Food is a must at every party! Why not tie your theme into your food with dog bone shaped cookies, hot dogs, and cupcakes with paw prints?

  6. Step 6

Make personalized dog treats to give out to each of the furry guests at your party. Display your hard work as part of the centerpieces by putting them in dog bowls in the center of each table. Make it clear they are for the dogs to enjoy and not the kids!

  7. Step 7

Relax and enjoy knowing you put together a fun and unique party that will be remembered for years to come!

Tips & Warnings
  • Bring dog bowls filled with water for the furry guests.
