The beautiful tones from a violin are partially affected by the type of violin bow used to play the instrument. Selection of the wood and of the hair for the bow determines the price of the bow and the quality of music played. Bow hair wears over time from playing the violin and from applying resin. You will need to string a violin bow with new hair when replacement is needed. As a musician, you should already be familiar with the different parts of the violin bow. Proper stringing of the violin bow will create better music from your instrument.
