How to Get and Use a Prepaid Visa Card

If you are looking for a way to manage your finances or want a credit card but have poor credit, a prepaid Visa card may be the answer. You can use a prepaid Visa anywhere Visa is accepted, whether online, by phone or in a store. It can also be used at ATMs to get cash. With a prepaid Visa, you cannot spend more than you have loaded on the card.

A well-written article, thanks for posting. In my career I have marketed both Visa and MasterCard prepaid cards. Currently, I write for a MasterCard prepaid card called, Mango Money. Although this article specifically talks about Visa, from a consumer perspective I'm not convinced there is much difference between the two competing products, Visa and MasterCard. All the bells and whistles for Visa exist with MasterCard, the differences come down to fee structure. Be a very educated consumer about the fees on any prepaid product and you'll be happy that you took the time to learn about how they work. Best, Kim
