YouTube is one of the most popular websites on the Internet. It allows users to post videos online for free, and these can be played by anyone who has Internet access. Before videos can be posted on YouTube, a user account must be created, and the email address of the user must be verified.

1. Create an account. Do this by going to www.youtube.com and click "Sign Up." Follow the prompts to create the account (includes user name, birthday, email address and password). You might be asked to verify your email address even after creating an account. This is just to make sure no one else is accessing your user account.

2. Sign into your email address (the one you use during the YouTube sign-up).

3. Select the message that YouTube has sent you. This will bring up a short verification message, as well as a link provided in the email. Click on the link and you will be taken to a YouTube verification page.

4. Type in your password and submit. The email address will now be verified through YouTube.
