Resetting a wireless phone jack can be necessary if the system has connection, reception or other operating issues. This is a universal guide on how to reset a wireless phone jack system.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paperclip or object with small point
  1. Step 1

    Unplug the base and all extension units. Disconnect any devices connected to the wireless jacks.

  2. Step 2

    Using the paperclip, press on the recessed coding button on the base unit for approximately five seconds.

  3. Step 3

    Release the coding button and plug in the base unit and extension units.

  4. Step 4

    Connect all devices and check one of the connected phones for a dial tone.
