Step 1
Ice cube trays are great for organizing office or sewing supplies. All of those little compartments are wonderful for buttons, stamps, paperclips, etc.
-
Step 2
You can save a ton of money by making your own baby food. Just cook veggies, meat, etc and run it through the food processor with a bit of water. Place the baby food into ice cube trays and freeze. After the food is frozen pop it out of the tray and freeze it in a gallon sized zipper bag. Pull out one or two cubes at a time and microwave for a quick, inexpensive meal for baby.
-
Step 3
Ice cube trays are great for storing loose change. They are ideal for sorting change at garage sales.
-
Step 4
Make jello shots in ice cube trays instead of using plastic or paper jello shot cups. Tip the jello shots out on a platter and let everyone grab their own.
-
Step 5
Use ice cube trays as a paint trays for craft projects. Kids especially love using these trays as the little compartments keeps the paint from mixing together.
-
Step 6
Start flowers, vegetables or herbs in old ice cube trays. Just make sure you poke a hole in the bottom of each compartment for water drainage.
