Learn how forgiving will release you from the hurt.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • An open heart and mind.
  1. Step 1

We have all been hurt at some point in our lives, someone wronged us, rejected us, used us, hurt us physically or mentally, whatever your hurt may be that was caused by the actions of another person, it may cut deep into your heart and cause you to hold pent up anger, resentment, make you feel bad about yourself.

  2. Step 2

The only way to move on with life is to let it go and forgive that person.

  3. Step 3

Forgiving doesn't mean that you have to be friends with this person, or even allow them in your life, forgiving is for you, so you don't harbor that hatred and anger inside, which will only cause pain and disease in your life.

  4. Step 4

So when someone hurts you or angers you, let it go and allow it to be washed from you, life is meant to live with a happy heart and mind.

on 8/6/2009 Forgiveness does not mean you accept the bahavior done to you nor does it mean to allow the other person who harmed you back into your life. Forgiveness is just the willingness to let go of the hurt and let God (or Karma) deal with the other person.
