How to Make a Ladybug Costume With a Snow Saucer

These are instructions for putting together a ladybug costume for an adult or child.

Things You'll Need:

• Red snow saucer
• Head to toe black clothes
• Headband with antenna
• Black paint
• String or cord.

1. Take your snow saucer and draw a line down the middle from one handle to the other with the black paint on the convex side that normally touches the snow. Draw large black dots on either side of the line in a mirror image. If you draw a dot on one side, draw a dot on the other side in the same place.

2. Tie two pieces of string between the handles of the snow saucer. These will be used as backpack straps. Leave some extra so you can test out how tight you want it. It will help keep the straps on to cross them across the chest.

3. Make or buy a black headband with black antennae.

4. Put on black clothes that cover you from head to toe. Then put on the headband, then put on the red ladybug shell.
