Instructions

    • 1

Go buy a digital picture frame. You can find these at any electronics store and most retail stores like Target and Walmart.

    • 2

Upload several pictures of you and your partner that you both really love. Any pictures of vacations, the day you met, your first date, parties, holidays, etc.

    • 3

Buy several posterboards, and on each one you will write one portion of a short and sweet message. Maybe something like:
      - "From the day we first met
      - I always knew
      - that I loved you best.
      - We have been through so much
      - and hopefully through so much more
      - which is why I want
      - to ask you this one, special thing..."

Find a scenic place and have a friend take pictures of you holding one sign at a time.

Upload all the pictures of you holding the posterboard signs to the digital frame to follow your other pictures. Make sure they are in the correct order. Put the frame back in the box and wrap it up.

    • 5

Give your partner the frame as a gift. Have your partner open it up and plug it in (make sure you are near a plug!). As your soon-to-be-spouse watches, prepare to present the engagement ring. When it gets to the last slide that says, "I want to ask you this one, special thing..." ...pull out the ring, and ask your partner, "will you marry me?!" Prepare for tears of joy!

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure you have loaded all the pictures correctly before wrapping up the present

  • Write your messages big enough to read on the frame. Use dark ink and large letters.

  • Wherever you give your partner the gift, make sure their is a working outlet near you so that you can plug in the frame.
