This guide is to help you catch a rabbit safely (just like they do in the cartoons)

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1x box
  • 1x 10-15 ft rope
  • 1x 1.5 ft stick
  • 1x carrot
  1. Step 1

    Set up box so one end is on ground and other end is being held up by end of stick (either make sure stick is in a y shape or cut a notch at the top).

  2. Step 2

    Tie the rope around the stick, make sure pulling on the stick makes it fall down so the box falls.

  3. Step 3

    Put the carrot in the middle of the ground under the box, or maybe a little farther back.

  4. Step 4

    Hide in a bush/behind a tree close to box trap. make sure you hidden

  5. Step 5

    Wait for rabbit to get close to carrot and in box trap. Don't pull the string too soon or the rabbit will get out of the box before it is closed all the way.

  6. Step 6

    Pull string, thus dropping box to ground trapping the rabbit.

  7. Step 7

    Release rabbit or keep for pet (if kept for pet you should take it to a vet for shots and what not).

Tips & Warnings
  • Use big carrots
  • If you really do catch a rabbit this way, please do not touch it.
