Magnetic therapy is touted as a way for those who suffer chronic pain to experience natural relief. This therapy involves applying magnets to different parts of the body to create electromagnetic pulses within injured tissue. Magnetic therapy practitioners believe that creating these pulses relieves pressure and pain, and they have developed magnetic bracelets so that patients can enjoy magnets' benefit anytime and anywhere. You can make your own magnetic bracelet at home with a few simple materials.

Instructions

    • 1

Measure your wrist. Clip a length of beading cord that measures the circumference of your wrist plus 2 inches.

    • 2

Lay out the beads in a pattern you enjoy. Intersperse magnetic beads with the regular beads. Because the magnets will try to move toward one another, lay them out in a line, as opposed to a circle, and space them an inch or so apart.

    • 3

Tie a knot in one end of the cord and thread the beads on, one by one.

    • 4

Knot the two ends of the cord together and slip your new magnetic bracelet onto your wrist.
