Quickly Eliminate Credit Card Debt

Paying off your credit card debt needs to be one of the most important things you try to do. Many people find that having more credit card bills than you can afford to pay can cause you a lot of stress in your life. There are things you can do to make it easy to get that debt paid off once and for all.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First you need to have a list of all the things you spend money on each month. make sure that when you are making this list that you include everything from the car payment to the daily Starbucks coffee. You will be shifting your spending so that you can get your debt eliminated in a quick manner.

  2. Step 2

Next you need to take the items on your first list and make a second list of items that you have to pay no matter what. These items are things such as your rent and your car payment, insurance. This will help you to see what are the important things that you spend money on each month.

  3. Step 3

The items that are left on your first list you need to see which ones are important and which ones are not. Remember that you may not have to eliminate the item but you may find a cheaper alternative. A good example is that you can make coffee at home each morning for less than 50 cents a cup instead of the $4.00 at your local coffee shop.

  4. Step 4

Finally the purpose of doing this is to free up more of your income to get your debt paid off. Once you see how much extra money that you will have each month then you can use it to make extra payments on your credit card debt and eliminate it.
