Most of us today carpool to work. When we shop for grocery' s we clip our coupons. We also wait for early hour sales. In addition we have cut back on our everyday spending. What about the electric bill we receive each month. Is there any way that one can cut on the cost of our electricity bills? Most definitely ,yes there are ways in this article I will explain how and the best part about it is that you need to spend no money, not one cent I promise.

First of all if you have a medical condition and need certain health aides to be plugged into the outlet then by all means do not unplug them. Another important thing that we need plugged into the outlet at all times would be your refrigerator, of course.

Now lets talk about some of those things we do not need plugged in all of the times. How about that little clock in your room why not unplug it put it away and use your cell phone or your watch or invest in a battery operated clock instead.

The washer and dryer that's in your home really doesn't need to be plugged into the outlet unless your doing your laundry.

Your grooming and hair appliances need not be in that little outlet neither. After you have watch your television shows or movies just unplug the cord from the outlet. How about that wonderful stereo, try unplugging that too when not in use. That also means check in your children s room if you have any and make sure that nothing unnecessary is plugged into that electrical outlet.

Now you may say that this is ridiculous and a waste of time but I assure you that if you follow these steps for one month then compare your new bill to your previous bill and you will see a difference.

I came along this information when I was concerned about my high bill and spoke with a representative from the electric company. She informed me that although your button on your T.V. is switched to off as long as it is plugged in the electrical outlet than the current is still running through the cord. She said that if your not using something basically UNPLUG it.
