Instructions

    • 1

Cut a band out of heavyweight paper. The band should be about one inch wide. Make sure that it wraps around the head of the child who will be wearing it. Tape the ends of the band together. Remove the band from the head of the child.

    • 2

Draw a baseball cap brim pattern on construction paper (see image).

    • 3

Cut the brim pattern out of the construction paper using scissors.

    • 4

Use scissors to cut along the line in the center of the brim pattern that was cut out. Fold it backwards.

    • 5

Attach the pattern to the band by attaching with tape above the brim.

    • 6

Decorate the hat using stickers, glue, glitter, paint, crayons, markers, or anything the child desires.
