How to disable the Spam filtering on Comcast mail and enable forwarded mail from other server to reach your Comcast inbox

If you use Comcast Internet EMail server, you may experience some difficulties in retrieving mail which is forwarded from other servers like Mail.com and other. Comcast new server has added a spam filter which stops certain HTTP from being processed. Here are the steps to resolve this issue.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Log on to your Comcast email. When you are in Smartzone, (which is the new email server for Comcast), go to Preferences.

  2. Step 2

    Under Preferences, Go to "Email"
    Under "Email", go to "Settings Managed on Comcast.net".
    Under "Settings Managed on Comcast.net" chose "Spam filtering / confirmation" A new window opens "Manage my user account"

  3. Step 3

    Under "Manage my user account", look in "email setting" and find "Spam filter". Select on the right "edit" a new window opens.

    In this new window, chose "disable spam" then close this window

    You should see: "Span filter status: OFF" in "Spam filter".

  4. Step 4

    If you did it right, you are done and you should now receive all the mail from forwarded servers.
