Everyone goes through these types of feeling. There are thing people can do to make the waiting period less lonely.

  1. Step 1

    Think about other things while someone special is away from you. Start a new project. Make a scrapbook or take some pictures and make a crafty photo album.

  2. Step 2

    Make a gift for the person you are missing. Think about how this person will feel once they've receive your thoughtful gift. Time away may just be what you both needed to make your special relationship quite new.

  3. Step 3

    People should try looking at their lonely situation through the other person's eyes. It may do you both good to spend some time apart and revitalize your body, mind, and spirit energies. Many things can be thought about each day. A walk in the park maybe a good idea.

  4. Step 4

    Go visit family. Take a niece or nephew to the park. Pack a picnic lunch and maybe go swimming later. Opportunities are different adventures that come to us when we least expect them. Make the most of everyday. People who are away from us from time to time are actually giving us time to reflect on bright new moment discoveries.

Tips & Warnings
  • Take in news sights with a higher level of consciousness.
  • Look at a rainbow with as many outlook possibilities as you can see and feel.
  • Learn to enlighten and free your mind from any troubling emotions. Take a journey of self expression while your loved ones are away. Write a poem. Take a cooking class.
  • Plan your special someone a homecoming they'll forever remember.
  • Never feel like time has to stand still when someone we care about is away for awhile. Never let negative weeds grow around our minds.

on 8/15/2009 Great article. Whenever my husband is out of town, my daughter and I go shopping or out for dinner to make the evenings go by quicker since we don't have him coming home from work to look forward to.
