Things You'll Need:
- Powdered milk
- Pigment powder
-
Step 1
Mix one cup of water with one cup of powdered milk in a jar or container.
-
Step 2
Add powdered pigment a little at a time until the color reaches the desired intensity. Be careful not to add to much pigment as this could affect the consistency of the paint.
-
Step 3
If the paint is lumpy, line a strainer with cheesecloth and strain out the lumps.
-
Step 4
Use milk paint on unfinished wood or other semi-porous objects. Metal, plastic and glossy finish will not hold milk paint without sanding or special primer.
