Repair prices are high and finding an auto mechanic that is cheap, are hard to come by. However, when you find one you can not wait to tell someone about it.

1. When your usual mechanic has closed, you feel lost and unsure of which one to go to next. You want to make sure the one you choose is not more expensive than the one you were using prior. Here are some great ideas on how to find a cheap auto mechanic.

2. When your looking for a cheap mechanic you want to make sure that they are familiar with your brand of car. The last thing you want is taking your car in and having different parts put on that do not go to your car. It could and will cause further repairs.

3. Talk to your friends or family with a similar car brand, about who they go to, to have their car fixed. They may have found a cheap mechanic that is familiar with your band of car.

4. Search the internet for local mechanics. Contact the auto shops and start asking questions. Pretend that you are a potential customer looking to price out some work that you need done to your vehicle. If the pricing for what ever you have asked about is with in your budget, you may have just found yourself a cheap mechanic.
