Things You'll Need:
- 1 large 16 oz. carton of large curd cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 finely chopped white onion
- 3 tsp. freshly ground
- pepper
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- Salt to taste
- Large sheet of puff pastry
- Oiled baking dish ~ 9"x9"

Step 1
Mix together: Cottage cheese, eggs, cornstarch, onions, pepper, garlic salt and sea salt.

Marinate the cottage cheese mixture for 2 to 24 hours. This step marry's the flavors, it's worth the wait in the end .

Step 3
In an oiled dish spread out puff pastry after leaving it at room temperature until easy to roll out.

Step 4
Cottage chese and onion pie ready to cookSpoon cottage cheese mixture on top of puff pastry and fold in the puff pastry. This is an open top pie, add more puff pastry and even use egg wash to decorate with cut out designs.

Step 5
Golden cottage cheese and onion pieBake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Plate up and serve warm with your favorite steamed vegetable or salad.
