Classic literature is available for reading on the internet, but it is not used as much as it should be because so many people do not know where to locate the various websites.

This article will give you some sites to locate classic literature and great information for yourself or your children to read.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a computer
  • an interest in literature
  1. Step 1

Find the known sites for classic literature. Classic books can be found at bibliomania. See the Resources below for the link to this website. Fiction, drama, poetry, short stories, and study guides are available for free on this website.

  2. Step 2

Locate e-books on gutenberg. Books available free to download are older classic literature because the copyrights have expired. This site has books in different languages, and a choice of the books can be made based on the language.

  3. Step 3

Know about other sites for free literature. Classic literature from The United Kingdom is available at the classic literature website. See Resources below. Planetebook has e-books available for downloads. Classic Reader has free books, too. These sites are shown in Resources below.

  4. Step 4

Find the Free Library. This site has millions of classics and lots of other information available for free. Check Resources below.

Tips & Warnings
  • We are literature nuts at our house, and we have used these sites and others and have found most of the classic works we have ever needed.
