How to Make Cold-brewed Coffee Concentrate

Cold-brewed coffee is gaining popularity because it is less acidic and bitter. Concentrate is used to produce many of these drinks because it is convenient. Cold-brewed coffee concentrate takes about 14 hours to prepare; most of that time is spent waiting for the coffee to brew.   • 1 lbs. coffee
  • Coffee grinder
  • Cold-brewing device

Instructions

      Grind the coffee coarsely. Pour 1 cup of water in the bottom of the cold-brewing device. Pour 1/2 pound of coffee onto the water.

      Add 3 cups of water onto the grinds slowly. Try to cover all the coffee with water.

      Add the rest of the coffee. Pat it down with a spoon so that all the coffee is wet.

      Place the coffee in an area that is room temperature for 13 to 16 hours.

      Let the coffee drain out of the brewing device into a container. Store the concentrate in the refrigerator.
