      Gather your ingredients. Obtain castor oil (inexpensive from drugstores), cotton balls and first aid tape. You'll also want some comfortable cotton socks. This method will remove corns at night while you sleep, and the socks keep the castor oil from messing up your sheets.

      Apply the castor oil before bed. Dip one cotton ball in castor oil until saturated, squeeze out excess drips, and place it over the corn. Then use the first aid tape to keep it in place. If you want to remove corns that are very small, break the cotton ball in half. But castor oil is good for skin, so err on the side of overlapping the corn to be removed rather than not quite covering the entire area. Pull on your socks and go to bed, remove cotton ball and tape in the morning.

      Repeat. Each night, repeat the above process. It usually takes two to six nights to remove corns.
