Lots of petite or very skinny women have a boyish figure. The problem with boyish figure is that it doesn’t look very feminine and lacks the aurora of a grown woman. Lots of people with boyish figure want to dress to hide their boyish figures and give the illusion of a curvier body. This article talks about how to dress to flatter your boyish figure effectively.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Clothing that has lace, ruffles, puff sleeves, or any other feminine patterns will flatter a boyish figure. It will add feminine elements to offset a boyish figure. Many women with boyish figure have flatter chest which makes the boyish figure look even more masculine. In order to flatter the boyish figure, it is important to make the bust area look bigger than it really is. Use padded bra at all times to give you the extra lift and cleavage. Find tops with ruffles on the chest to give the illusion of a bigger bust.

  2. Step 2

Choose pants or jeans with back pockets to give the illusion of a butt. Pockets add volume to your backside and can help you create the illusion of more curves. Low cut and skinny jeans are the most flattering on your figure; just remember to always choose the ones with back pockets.

  3. Step 3

You can always wear baby doll dresses to emphasize your feminine side. Use a padded bra and wide belt right below the bush to create the illusion of waist and an ultra sexy hourglass figure.

  4. Step 4

When choosing skirts, you should always go for a feminine or bohemian styled skirt with small flower prints or those that are layered to offset the boyish figure.
