How to make House Slippers A GO-GO using yarn

Make comfortable house slippers. Once you make a pair you will learn how to use less stitches to make smaller sizes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Size 6 or 7 knitting needles.
• 1 skein 4 oz 4 ply yarn any color you prefer.

1. Cast on 3 stitches.

2. Row 1: Knit these 3 stitches.

3. Row 2: Knit 1st stitch,increase in next stitch,knit last stitch.

4. Row 3: Knit 1st stitch,increase in next stitch,knit last 2 stitches.

5. Row 4: Continue to knit 5 stitches for 36 rows.

6. Row 5: Knit 1st stitch,increase next stitch and knit across row.

7. Row 6: Repeat row 5 until there are 21 stitches on needle.

8. Row 7: Increase in every stitch.There will be 42 stitches on needle.

9. Row 8: For the next 48 rows work in ribbing stitch of knit 2,purl 2.

10. Row 9: Decrease in every stitch.

11. Row 10: Knit 1st stitch,knit 2 together,then knit across row. Repeat this until there are 5 stitches on needle.

12. Row 11: Knit these 5 stitches for 36.

13. Row 12: Knit 1st stitch,knit 2 together,knit 2.

14. Row 13: Knit 1st stitch,knit 2 together,knit 1.

15. Row 14: Knit last 3 stitches.

16. BIND OFF.

17. To form heel and toe fold together and sew together with yarn.
