Reset "Time for Regular Service" message on your Mercedes Benz car. This worked on a 2008 Mercedes Benz C class.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Keys & a few minutes
  1. Step 1

    Step 1: First put the key in and turn it to position #2... Note: Do not turn the key to on position. You do not need to start the car for this reset process.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2: Scroll the "menu" button until the vehicle mileage shows on the display. then move on to step 3.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3: Use the "up and down" button until the picture of the wrenches shows on the display. Then move on to step 4.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4: press and hold the "trip reset" button in for 10 seconds and then release it. then move on to step 5.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5: Press and hold the "trip reset" button again for another 3 seconds and release it. Almost done.

  6. Step 6

    Your vehicle service indicator should now be reset. That's it, your done your vehicle mileage should reset on the display if you were successful.

Tips & Warnings
  • That's it, your done. there is nothing else to do and that annoying message is gone, until your next scheduled service.
