Step 1
Open up a word document. Type in anything, that would fit for your photos. It can be simple or exciting, but you want to set the mood for you page. It can be as simple as your childs name, or as fancy as an explaination of the event. But remember a few words is better, you want to draw people in, and then you can give them the details later, as they read your journalling or read the pictures.
-
Step 2
Right-click to select your title. Choose a font size that will blow up your image to your desired spacing. It is easier to see the details of your font, when it is larger. Now click to change font. You want to choose a font that goes with your images. Some that are fun for kids, or fancy for formal event.
-
Step 3
You can also change the color, or leave black and add color. You can print directly onto patterned paper. You can also choose an outline, and color your design by hand.
-
Step 4
Now use your paper cutter, to trim around the title. You will want this to be uniform, so look for long letters, and cut around those edges first. Then cut around all the sides, to match the spacing.
-
Step 5
Mount this title to another piece of paper, and trim to 1/4 or 1/8 around your title. This will just make it crisper and nicer to work with. Use the papers and the patterns you are going to use on your scrapbook page.
