This is a tasty and beautiful dish, pink radishes with bright green highlights. I never used to know what to do with radishes until a friend of mine brought a dish made almost entirely of radishes to a BBQ, and I saw the light. Now I can't get enough radishes. To add more color to the dish, I like to add fresh sugar snap peas from my garden to the recipe, but those are optional.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 Bunches/Pounds of Radishes
  • A handful of sugar snap peas
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • A Pinch of Pepper
  • A frying pan
  • Something to stir with
  • and of course a stove top
  1. Step 1

Cut radishes in half. If they're golf ball sized or larger, quarter them.

  2. Step 2

Cut off the ends of the sugar snap peas, then slice them in half. The sugar snap peas add a beautiful green contrast to the red of the radishes.

  3. Step 3

Sautee the vegetables in a frying with two tablespoons of butter until tender.

  4. Step 4

When the veggies are nice and tender, add two tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of salt, and pepper to taste.

  5. Step 5

Stir the ingredients together until the sugar dissolves into a sauce.

  6. Step 6

Take off the stove, and serve.

Tips & Warnings
