are you not sure if the avocado your about to use is to ripe? Making the perfect dip? heres how to tell. Its simple to make sure your avocado is riped to perfection. A ripe avocado is a great addition to any recipe.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • avocado
  1. Step 1

    a good ripe avocado is soft and comes off the peel easy. It also will separate from the pit easy with a fork or spoon. Its green in color and will feel soft but not mushy when its still whole.

  2. Step 2

    if a avocado is too ripe the coloring changes to a almost yellow and is really mushy.. The feel of a avocado that is too ripe is soft.

  3. Step 3

    If it is brown you know to toss it out. it will not be edible. a bad avocado tastes awful. It will ruin guacamole because of its horrible color. Its best to just throw it away or it will ruin your recipe's

Tips & Warnings

  • As a golden rule. A avocado will usually stay good at home for about one week after bought from store.
