How to Create Sudoku Online

Sudoku is a popular logic numbers game that consists of strategic combinations of numbers placed in a grid consisting of nine smaller grids with nine boxes in each grid. The goal is to have the numbers one through nine placed in each box so that each row and column only has the numbers of one through nine. You can play the game for free online at many online gaming websites. You can also create your own personal puzzle on some websites.

Instructions

1. Go to the Puzl website for Sudoku puzzles and click on the "Create" option from the top of the page (see Resources).

2. Begin creating your puzzle by filling in all the boxes for the left column and top row. You must make sure that each column and row has the numbers one through nine.

3. Complete the bottom row and right column the same way. If you type in a number that is a duplicate in that column or row, then the box will turn pink. You must type in the number that will fit.

4. Finish typing in the numbers for all of the boxes in the puzzle and then click on the option to lock the Sudoku puzzle. You will then be able to start solving your own puzzle.

5. Solve your own puzzle while you are timed at the top of the screen to see how fast you can solve it. Click on the "Exchange" option at the top of the screen to share your puzzle with others online by copying the link and then pasting it to a message board or an email.

Tips & Warnings

• If you get stuck in creating your puzzle at anytime, click on the "Clear Puzzle" option to start over.
