The Nintendo Wii uses motion sensors for interactive wireless controller game play. The Wii comes with a sensor bar and Wii controller, which consists of a Wii remote and nunchuck. The Wii also includes the option to connect to the Internet and play multiplayer games online. Another Wii benefit is that games from the Nintendo GameCube can be played on the Wii console. A Wii can be purchased at most retail stores that sell video games and several online stores.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide what accessories you want with the Wii. For example, do you want the console and controllers or a special bundle that includes a free game? Shopping online can be beneficial for finding bundles and extras that might not be found at retail stores.

  2. Step 2

Go to Walmart's website for some of the cheapest options for buying a Nintendo Wii (See Resources). The website includes a bundle called the Customer Choice Bundle, which isn't available at stores. The bundle includes the console, remote and nunchuck, choice of extra accessory, choice of a game, and a choice for a second bonus game.

  3. Step 3

Go to GameStop's website to find a Wii that can be ordered online (See Resources). The online store includes a special Mario and Sonic Olympics game bundle that includes the Mario and Sonic: Olympic Games video game. The store also ships the Wii within 24 hours.

  4. Step 4

Search for new and used Wii on online auction websites such as eBay. This can be a great bargain. Lots of people sell used Wii consoles with several games for the same price as a new Wii.

  5. Step 5

Use Wii tracking tools from websites such as NowInStock.net and Outtastock.com (See Resources). At these sites, you can compare prices for Wii consoles in stock at a variety of online stores.
