How to Pass A Lie Detector Test Easily
If you are ever in the case that you need to pass a lie detector test - there are ways to get around it. I do not suggest lying, however if you are *ever* on an episode of Maury, and need to pass a test....(Just kidding!). The thing some people don't understand about lie detectors is that it reacts to how your body reacts, which can be controlled.

You need to learn the basics of lie detectors. Polygraph test accuracy is not about reading your mind - just about reading your body temperature, heart rate and movements. Studies have shown that when a person is lying - they fidget, have active moments, a higher body temperature, and a higher heart rate. (Because they know they are lying.) You need to learn to control your bodily reactions to questions.

You also should brush up on polygraph basics. The procedure usually requirements that you meet with the interviewer (who is trained to read people). They ask you a series of questions to get to know you and your personality. Remember that these people have studied for years on human body behavior. You should practice in the mirror, practice with a friend, and make sure your story makes perfect sense so that you don't get tripped up on your own words.

Educate yourself on the actual session and procedure. Polygraph tests are structured on a series of primarily questions to set to get a reading of your pulse, body temperature and other sensible things. They will ask you questions such as your name, address, birth date and other common sense questions.

The next series are questions are normally to get a sense of your ability to lie. Such as, "How you ever lied to get out of a situation?" and other questions related to that nature. You should be truthful but explain the problem. Everybody has done this, so it would be false to say "No." This is a test that is very tricky.

Next, usually the interviewer will ask questions specific of the question at hand. The questions will be very tricky and usually they will ask the same thing in many different ways. The trick is to pay close attention, answer accordingly and not to panic. Try to get as calm as possible.

The most important thing you could ever do in order to pass a lie detector test is to stay calm, and try to keep your body functioning as normal. A lot of times, people get overly excited and scared (even if they did nothing wrong...) and fail simply because they are nervous. Take a deep breathe, and know what your going to say before you make a statement.
