Step 1
To located convicted sex offenders you will first need to go the Iowa Sex Offender Registry website. A direct link to this website can be found in the resource section of this article.

Once you are at the Iowa Sex Offender Registry site you will need to click on the tab on the left hand side of the site that says search registrants.

Now a page will load with information about the registry. You should read this and if you agree then you will click on the link that says "I understand and agree to the above statement".

The search page will now load. You have several options for searching for convicted sex offenders. You can search by name, city, county, or zip code. Once you enter your search criteria you will click on submit.

Step 5
Now a list of convicted sex offenders registered in the state of Iowa that meet your search criteria will be listed.
