How to Get Rid of Adware in MP3 DJ

If you receive random pop-ups on your computer (particularly when you're not browsing the Internet), it is likely that you have adware. Adware can infect certain programs, including the audio editing program MP3 DJ. Having adware in MP3 DJ could corrupt your files, so it's important to get rid of the adware.

Things You'll Need:

  • Ad-Aware

    Using Adaware

  1. Step 1

    Download and launch Adaware (see Resources for link).

  2. Step 2

    Click the "Scan" tab on the left.

  3. Step 3

    Select "Custom Scan." Locate your MP3 DJ program folder (the default location is "C:/Program Files/MP3 DJ"). To find the program, click "Start" in the windows taskbar and select "Search". Type MP3 DJ.

  4. Step 4

    Press "Scan." This will scan all of the contents of the selected folder and effectively remove any adware/spyware content. This may take a few minutes.
