Guide with five helpful tips on how to handle a jealous boyfriend

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Do you have to deal with a jealous boyfriend? Are you constantly tired of his control issues? Jealous boyfriends only get worse as time goes by. They will end up getting more jealous and controlling about everything. Here are five tips on how to handle a jealous boyfriend.

Don't let an abusive freak stay in your life

Some boyfriends that are abusers frequently flip out whenever they are extremely jealous of any of your males friends. Some boyfriends that are abusive may become physically abusive towards you. Abusive boyfriends may try to keep you from leaving the house by standing in the door refusing to let you leave. They might make rude remarks about you or any of your male friends. Physical abuse is all about control and it will only get worse due to his insecurities.

  2. Step 2

Make sure that he doesn't stalk you

Some boyfriends turn into stalkers depending upon just how jealous they really are. If you notice that he has been stalking you or implies that he will then be concerned. Be concerned if he mentions anything about hiding in bushes around a male friends yard or place you frequently visit. If you find out that he really stalks you then make sure to get a restraining order against him cause physical stalking is worse than Internet stalking. Almost everybody checks out people on the Internet that they know, but not many really stalk people in real life since they know it is extremely wrong to do.

  3. Step 3

Don't let his remarks bug you

Sooner or later he will stop with his remarks when he realizes that you simply don't care. Let his remarks fall on deaf walls. Do not response his remarks. Do not even acknowledge them in any way shape or form. It will drive him nuts in the beginning after a while he will get a clue eventually.

  4. Step 4

Go out with your friends despite what he says

Don't let him control you. If you let him control you by his own jealous insecurities then he will just try to control you even further. You have every right to spend time with your friends regardless of whether your friends are female or male. If he gets upset as he normally would then tell him to get a life of his own too. You are not obligated to spend every minute with him.

  5. Step 5

Let him know that there is more to life than being jealous over everything

Whenever he starts to argue with you don't acknowledge it. Just repeat why do you waste your time trying to change me to him. He will either be quiet or keep going. Ask him why he is being such a controlling individual. He may tell you some sob story about abandonment issues but inform him that perhaps he should see a therapist for his issues. Your jealous boyfriend is not your responsibility to fix. Let him know how insecure he is being by getting jealous all the time over anything in life. Tell him that it isn't worth getting jealous over.
