How to Treat a Pimple Around The Neck
Because skin tissue near the neck is so soft and delicate, it can be difficult to treat a pimple that occurs on your throat, under your chin, or above the collar bone. You can't very easily pop these zits (and often they don't even form heads that you can pop), but you can try the method below to make them fade. This works well for large, painful zits on any soft part of the body, as well as for mosquito bites.

First, make the zit dry up by covering it with a layer of calamine lotion, clay-based facial masque, or acne medication that comes in the form of a white paste. Put a little square of tissue over it, let it dry, and then apply one more layer of medication.
This creates a little hard shell that helps desiccate the blemish. Leave the hard shell on your neck over night.

The next day, wash off the medication by showering. Don't try to pick off the shell with your fingers; it will hurt and can tear the delicate skin!

3
When your skin is clean and dry, apply an ice cube directly over the pimple. Leave the ice cube on until it melts, and then apply another one if you can tolerate it.

4
Before you go to bed, apply ice once more, and then make another little shell to leave on over night.

5
Repeat the steps above for a few days, and the zit will disappear without scarring.
To help prevent zits in the future, learn your body's particular acne triggers. These can be certain foods, drinks, soaps, or cosmetics.
