How to Make a Beta Fish Bowl

Beta fish are the most beautiful fish for indoor enjoyment.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Favorite color of beta fish
• glass vase
• stones
• ribbon
• food
• water

1. First pick out the fish at your local pet store or super store, these fish are in very small jars on top of large tanks, look for a health fish with a full tail. Recommended only one fish. These male fish are called Fighting Fish and they do not like other males

2. Purchase a glass vase with a large bottom portion for the fish to swim in the vase should have a smaller neck for supporting a plant, a peace lily is a nice plant for this

3. Purchase stones in the pet store or hobby store. I recommend that you get stones that enhance the color of the Beta that you have choosen, as you can see in the sample picture, if you would like purchase decortative ribbon to add to the overall apperance.

4. Add the stones to the vase, add cool water and let sit for half and hour and place fish in vase, add ribbon if you want to and you need a plant once you have cleaned the roots free of dirt. Add some moss if needed around the plant to support it for the neck of the vase.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure to purchase beta food, the fish only uses the plant roots to rest on they usually do not eat the plant so they will need some food
