  • Ammonia
  • Mild detergent
  • Bowl

      Mix one tablespoon of ammonia, one tablespoon of mild dishwashing detergent and three cups of warm water. Stir the ingredients until well mixed. Don't shake them because you will get too much sudsing.

      Soak your jewelry in the cleaner for seven to 10 minutes. Then a soft-bristled toothbrush to lightly scrub. Do not scrub vigorously because you will scratch the gold. Rinse with warm water.
