Step 2
After you have completed the above step then you need to stop junk mail from marketing companies. The Direct Marketing Association is a service that lets you opt out of receiving mail marketing advertising. The site to do this is www.dmachoice.org.

Stopping unwanted calls is the next step. The National Do Not Call Registry, which you can register for by visiting www.donotcall.gov, or calling 1-888-382-1222 from the phone number you want to register.
