This article will show you one of the many methods of how to whiten someone's teeth in a photo in Photoshop. This method will show you how to whiten teeth by using the dodge tool.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Photoshop
  • Photo
  1. Step 1

    Open up Photoshop and then open the desired photo in Photoshop

  2. Step 2

    Select the desired layer

  3. Step 3

    While on the desired layer, select the dodge tool

  4. Step 4

    Change your dodge tool's exposure to the desired amount of whitening. The higher the exposure, the whiter you will be making the teeth. Be sure to not go too high on the amount of exposure as the whitening may look fake.

  5. Step 5

    Over the subject's teeth, use your dodge tool and click and drag over teeth to get the desired whiteness

  6. Step 6

    Analyze your photo and make sure the teeth whitening looks good. If not, undo the whitening on your history palette and then change the exposure. Now be sure to go back and repeat steps.
