Health care reform bill (HR 3200) is being hotly debated. It now appears that any vote on HR 3200 will wait until after the Congressional recess, meaning a vote will not come until September. Now is the time for all Americans to at least read and attempt to understand the proposed bill. Health care reform is an issue for all Americans.

      First go to the source itself, House Resolution 3200. This is the first draft of the proposed health care reform. Yes, it is very difficult to read, but there are clear points and can be easily understood. HR 3200 can be found in any Google search.

      Go ahead and listen to or read the different opinions. However, understand the authors/commentators political stance before accepting their word. Remember this is a debate and people will be slanting the truth.

      Call up any organization you may belong to. This might include the AARP, Heritage, Unions etc. They should have literature about the health care reform bills.

      Discuss the bill with fellow Americans. Write down excerpts from the bill such as providing funds for nursing training, implementation of practices for labor and deliver and collection of information on how medical devices are or not working and debate them.
