How to Insall Wordpress Using Fantastico

If you've found installing a Wordpress Blog on your site time consuming and somewhat troublesome then using Fantasico is the tool to use.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• An internet connection

1. Login In To Your Webhosting Cpanel Account.
   Towards The Bottom You Will See A Large Blue Smiley Face That Says Fantasico or Fantastico Deluxe.

2. Click on The Fantastico Link.
   You will then be taken to the Fantastico page.
   From the list of applications on the left Select Wordpress.

3. When the Wordpress installation pages appears select new installation.

4. From the drop down meny select the domain or sub-domain in which you want to install Wordpress

5. Then select the directory in which you choose to install Wordpress. If the installation will be in the root directory do nothing.

6. Enter an Administrator username and password
   Enter an Administrator nickname
   Enter a contact email address

7. Enter The Blogs Site Name Or Title (Include Your Main Keyword/Phrase In Title).
   Enter The Blogs Description (Also Include Your Main Keyword/Phrase In Your Description).

8. Record for your records the resulting Data Base information and installation links

Tips & Warnings

• Word of caution: Do Not Remove The Fantastico supplemental files that are created. These files are used by Fantastico To Un-Install The Wordpress Installation At A later time If You Choose To Do So.
