How to Draw Cat Girls
Cat girls are a popular form of anthropomorphism in Japanese Manga and Anime. The characteristics of cats themselves often are fused to the personality of these girls for comic effect. Silly gags such as distracting a cat girl with a moving object on a string are quite commonplace in this medium. Cat girls are also far more human than typical anthropomorphic characters. Often these girls have only a smattering of feline features such as pointed cat's ears and tails. Perhaps this is to help readers identify more with their characters and see them less as strange creatures than cute, occasionally furry humans.

Be sure to let the marker dry before using the colored pencil over it or you could tear the illustration.
