How to Delete the Browsing History When the Box Doesn't Show

When you are viewing your browsing history on the Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer applications, you will see a box with an option to clear the history. However, you can still clear your Web browser's history even if the box is not showing up. Remember that once you delete your browsing history, the data cannot be recovered.

      Open a new window in the Mozilla Firefox Web browser.

      Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of the window and choose "Clear Private Data."

      Check the box next to "Browsing History."

      Uncheck any other boxes in the pop-up window to ensure you only delete the browsing history.

      Click on the "Clear Private Data Now" button at the bottom of the window to delete your browsing history.
