How to Print Multiple Types of Files in Order

When working in a fast-paced environment, it can be important to save time and cut corners whenever you can. One of the biggest drawbacks in time management comes while you are printing documents, especially if they are from a number of different programs. Opening up one program to print a document, then closing it and opening up another one to print a different kind of file takes far longer than it should, and in fact, there is a way to print the multiple types of files in order and at once.

Instructions

    • 1

Place all the files (if possible) in one location. This will keep you from jumping from one document to another in the future. You can do this by creating a separate folder. Right-click the files you want to print, then select "Copy." Now go to the folder you created and paste them in. This will create copies of the files that you wish to print. Arrange the files in the order you want them to print in a vertical line. The first you want printed should be at the top, and the last at the bottom.

    • 2

Click and drag over all the files so they are all highlighted.

    • 3

Right-click one of the files (making sure all the files stay selected). This brings up a pull-down menu.

    • 4

Click "Print." This brings up the printer options window, asking how many copes of the document you want. Specify the number, and click "Print." The files will now be printed in order.
