Crank out some printable Camp Rock invitations for your child's party. Camp Rock is an original Disney Channel movie starring popular and talented teens Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. Since its premiere on TV in the summer of 2008, Camp Rock has captured the imaginations of summer campers and singing and dancing talents alike. The invitations, similar to the movie and its characters should be colorful and upbeat. Does this Spark an idea?

  • Bright blue card stock
  • Color ink
  • Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop
  • Craft foam
  • Glue

Instructions

    • 1

      Select a Camp Rock photo from the official Disney Channel website or from the press photos found at the TV Guide website. (See Resource) Click on the photo and drag it to the desktop on a Mac, or right click and elect to save it to the desktop while using Windows.

      Open a blank document in Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop. Make a card that opens from the bottom by placing the photo on the bottom of the page. Print out the page and fold it at the top. Go to Step Four to complete the card.

      Change the orientation of the page to landscape to match a horizontal photo. Align the photo in the center of the page to make a card that opens in the traditional way, from right to left.

      Type up the party details in another document, including the day, date and time of the party. Include the name of the guest of honor as well as the address. Specify if there will be food served, if it's a birthday party, and where the child is registered if appropriate. Print out the information and glue it to the inside of the invitation.

      Embellish the card inside and out with guitar and music stickers. Cut guitar, microphone, musical symbols and camping related images out of craft foam and glue them around the edges of the paper you glued inside the invitation.

Tips & Warnings

  • Create a frame out of green or yellow paper to further enhance the image on the front of the invitation or to cover the edges of the glued information page inside.

  • When using copyrighted images to make invitations, do not post them to a website or try to sell them.
