How to Buy Hot Wheels Cases

Preserving and organizing your child's Hot Wheels collection is easier with Hot Wheels cases. Cases made by the Hot Wheels company contain perfectly sized slots for your Hot Wheels cars and seal them into place with a plastic shield so the cars don't get mixed up or lost while transporting them.

1. Shop online. A number of online retailers, including Amazon.com, eBay and Hot Cases, sell regular and specialized Hot Wheels cases. You can even request to have them personalized with your child's name.

2. Visit the toy car section at toy stores such as Toys "R" Us. Often stores will carry display and carrying cases, and sometimes they come packaged with cars to add to your collection.

3. Shop the toy section at retail outlets and department stores, as they often carry Hot Wheels and accessories. You may be able to find cases there.

4. Check out yard sales and flea markets for older Hot Wheels cases and cars. You may find some good bargains.

5. Browse classifieds ads and Craigslist for Hot Wheels collections for sale. You may be able to buy the cases and the cars for a relatively fair price.

6. Consider using Freecycle. You may be able to get Hot Wheels cases for nothing more than the cost of shipping or the gas it takes to pick them up from the person who wants to get rid of them.
