How to Play House Design Games Online
Using online house-designing games is a great way to consider what a home would look like with different fixtures and colors. It's also a fun way to pass time. There are many websites to choose from to play such games.

Ghoul Girl's House Design

Visit the Ghoul Girl website (see References).

Scroll down until you see the image of the house.

Click and drag the items from the right and from below the house to add it to each room.

Click "New House" on the right to remove all of the furniture from the house and start over.

Press "Prt Sc," "Prnt Scrn," or "Print Screen" on your keyboard to save your image.

Open an image-editing program and click "Edit" then "Paste." Crop your image and save it.
Armstrong's Design My Room

Visit the Armstrong Design My Room website (see References). Click "Start Designing" under "Design a Room." Allow the popup screen to load completely.

Choose a room from the drop-down menu in the top left-hand corner. Select a style of room from the drop-down menu to the right of the room selection.

Select a floor from the menu on the right of the page. Choose between hardwood, vinyl tile, vinyl sheet, ceramic, linoleum and laminate. Then select a quality, species, style, color and construction type from the menu in the middle of the screen.

Click on "Ceiling" below the middle menu to begin editing the ceiling. Choose a ceiling type (classic colors or decorative ceilings).

Do the same with the walls, cabinets and countertops. Choose "Walls," pick the color and click on it. Next choose "Cabinets" by picking the color that you would like for your cabinets, and click on it. Then choose "Countertops," select the color that best fits the room so far, and click on it.

Tips & Warnings
To save your image in Armstrong's room design, click on "Save Room" under the image of the room. You may be required to sign up for the site if you wish to save your design.
